The 1511 Society Campaign is underway!
It's Spring and every GFWC-SC clubwoman is invited to join "The 1511 Society". This is a way for each of us to support our state headquarters on Laurel Street in Columbia.
Traditionally, clubwomen are asked to donate $15.11 because our address is 1511 Laurel St. Any amount - lesser or greater - is welcomed and is tax deductible. Funds are particularly important this year because of the serious and costly siding issues our old house is facing.
Today, April 3, a month-long campaign is launching to enroll as many SC Clubwomen as possible in "The 1511 Society". You may donate online using a credit card. Just click here on the donation website and follow prompts. Or, you may mail a personal check directly to headquarters at 1511 Laurel St., Columbia, SC 29201.
Weekly updates of participation and amounts donated will be available. Headquarters committee members will be available at convention to answer questions and to take donations.
On Monday, May 1, we will conduct a drawing of each individual donor's name with the winner receiving a $100 VISA gift card!
